The Wheel Fender is a more advanced solution compared to the simple design of the Roller Fender. It features maintenance-free bearings, typically made from stainless steel and composite materials. Thanks to its configuration—with additional back rollers and a sliding shaft—the Wheel Fender offers enhanced energy absorption capabilities.
Wheel Fenders can be installed in various configurations to suit specific operational needs, such as:
Double or triple stacked units to accommodate larger tidal variations
Side-by-side arrangements for guiding vessels through narrow passages
Angled installations to match the flare angle of a vessel’s hull
