This beautiful American softwood is naturally resinous, which can occasionally result in oily spots or streaks on planed surfaces. Hard knots may also occur. The striking contrast between early and latewood growth rings adds unique character. In quarter-sawn and end-grain cuts, these patterns are visible as linear or circular markings. Transparent finishes beautifully highlight the natural aesthetic of Oregon Pine, enhancing its distinctive warmth and charm.
