The SSD Fender is a foam fender designed for quick and easy handling, with SSD standing for Small Standard Duty. Its compact size makes it ideal for the limited storage space available on naval and commercial vessels. Lightweight and manageable, the SSD Fender can be installed easily by one or two persons.
Each SSD Fender is supplied with integral end fittings made from galvanized steel, stainless steel, or HD-PE. Its heat-laminated closed-cell foam core and non-marking urethane elastomeric skin ensure consistent and reliable performance.
Additionally, SSD Fenders are available with a heavy-duty internal Hawse Pipe instead of traditional end fittings (model SSD-HP).
